Director of the college –Ersain Ahmetvalievich Nabiev

Nabiev Ersain Ahmetvalievich is the director of the college, Doctor of Pedagogics, member of Kazakhstan National Academy of Natural Sciences and the International Academy of Informatization. He is an honorary professor of the S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan State University, he was awarded the “10 Years of Astana” anniversary medal, “Altynsarin” medal, Honorary Education Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, has honorary letters from President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N. Nazarbayev, and Governor of the East Kazakhstan Region B. Saparbayev.

Ust-Kamenogorsk College of Economy and Finance, a former cooperative technical school, is a mature educational institution that has passed the test of time and proved its consistency and competitiveness in the market of educational services of the region. Up to date, the college is among the leaders of business education, is a member of the International League of Financial Schools, has the title of “College of European Quality”. It is the leading college of the region in economic disciplines.

In 2010, the college became part of the Kazakh-American Free University that allowed active using the opportunities of the University of International Partnership.

The pedagogical staff is highly professional. 87% of teachers have higher and first categories.

Innovative methods and technologies of teaching are introduced into the educational process in order to ensure the training of a competitive specialist. Computer practice is conducted within the college. Students undertake internship at large enterprises of the city: KAZZINK, Shygysenergotrade, Asia Auto, Bipek Avto, Voska.

Support of educational process

The educational process is provided by a rich book fund and regularly updated by the periodical press fund. There is a reading room for the convenience of students.

Textbooks, handouts, a set of software for professional training are collected in the classrooms.

Students are engaged in research activities in their spare time: participate in Academic Olympics, competitions, trainings, conferences of various levels, attend sports sections, participate in various competitions.

The college has a student police support unit, whose members take part in the prevention of violations, improve their knowledge in the field of legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, develop skills of providing first aid, participate in city competitions in physical and marching drill training.

Students of the college take part in mass cultural events, where they show their talents.
